Carson Chan
Charity Arrows
Carson Chan, a sophomore honor student and ASB Treasurer, is also a nationally ranked Olympic recurve archer currently holding the USAT #5 rank in his U18 age group. He has achieved certification as a Level 1 archery coach. As Vice Captain of the elite Phoenix Archery Team, Carson serves as a positive and supportive role model to fellow archers. This year, he will represent the United States Archery Team in national and international competitions, training under Olympic gold medalist Coach Hyang Soon Seo.
Beyond archery, Carson is making a mark as the host of My Future Podcast, where he engages Gen Z listeners and more on topics from mental wellness to personal growth. Recent episodes include "Unlock the Power of Active Recovery," "Are Extroverts, Introverts, or Ambiverts More Successful?" and "Mastering Goal Setting and Achieving in High School." Carson also brings valuable insights from his research on experts like Dr. Bob Rotella, sharing lessons from Rotella's books on mental strength and sports psychology. Carson’s podcast is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other platforms.
Carson is also the founder of CharityArrows.org, a nonprofit that repurposes discarded arrows into keepsake pens, with proceeds supporting foster children and women in need through Bithiah’s Family Services. Additionally, as Teen Editor for ModernMom.com, he helps shape teen-centered content and manages the editorial calendar.
This year, Carson has also finished his first ebook helping other kids and parents in the community with their own nonprofit projects.
